Nutrient dense and naturally sweetened - this is a fall favourite.
Ingredients
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced 0.5cm
1 small lemon (juice)
¼ cup sesame seeds, ground
¼ cup sesame seeds, ground
1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup coconut oil
¼ cup raw honey or natural maple syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease 11x7 in. baking dish with coconut oil.
In a large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice. Add them to the baking dish.
In a medium bowl thoroughly combine oats, ground sesame seeds, ground sunflower seeds, coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, and salt.
Pour the granola mixture over the apples. Bake for about 45 minutes - until the apples are soft and the top starts to brown.
