Hormone Balancing Hummus

This recipe is packed with sesame and sunflower seeds to support healthy progesterone levels. Seed cycling is a cheap and safe way to balance hormones - resulting in clear skin, painless periods, increased libido, weight loss and more. Make this recipe during days 15-28 of your cycle (luteal phase) to support progesterone levels.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (400 mL) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1/4 cup ground sesame seeds

  • 1/4 cup ground sunflower seeds

  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice (1 small lemon)

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1/2 tsp. natural salt

  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric (optional)

  • 2 tbsp. filtered water

Directions

  1. Use a food processor to blend ingredients until smooth. If you have trouble blending, add up to 1/4 cup filtered water as needed. Enjoy!
