For the Acne-Prone Girls!
Swapping dairy milk for almond milk can do wonders for your skin if you're dealing with acne. Cow's milk has been well-researched and proven to increase the frequency and severity of acne breakouts due to its lactose (sugar) content and high glycemic index.
It Gets Better
When you make almond milk at home, you have 100% control over what goes in it. Have you seen what goes into store-bought almond milks? Most products have a long list of ingredients that are difficult to pronounce - not a good sign. Almond milk is easy to make at home, and you'll avoid all the unnecessary additives and preservatives of a store-bought product.
